A thirteen-year-old boy was sitting on the sofa watching TV when the telephone rang.
A: “Hello, my son,” it was his father's voice, “Where is your mother.”
B: “Mother is out working in the garden.”
A: “What!” barked the father, “your mother is not as young and strong as she used to be. Why aren't you helping her?”
B: “I can't.” was the reply. “Grandma is using the other hoe!”
当电话响了，一个13岁的小男孩坐在沙发上看电视。
“你好，儿子。”这是他爸爸的声音，“你妈妈在哪里啊？”
“妈妈在花园外面工作了。”
“什么？”爸爸大声地吼着，“你妈妈已经不是像以前那么年轻、强壮的了，为什么你都不去帮她？
“我不能啊，”儿子回答者。“奶奶正用着另一把锄头呢！”
