Position Description Title: Consultant

General Summary
Responsible for ABS NS project implementations and consulting tasks as assigned.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities (PDR)
Provides consulting services as assigned, including installation, implementation, training, business process, data and other services
Responsible for providing consulting services in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures
Communicates project status and client concerns to Account Manager, Senior Consultant and/or Consulting Services Manager as appropriate
Identifies opportunities for add-on sales of software and services and advises account manager of same
Responsible for compliance with relevant procedures regarding client invoicing including timely submission of all required documentation.
Is proficient in the use of internal ABS NS Systems for client support
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)
College Degree or equivalent
Experience with NS5 or similar systems
Experience with systems consulting
Experience in IT, marine or offshore industry

Working Conditions
Work will normally be performed in an air-conditioned office environment and will be non-manual in nature. Travel is required and can be extensive. Ability to safely board vessels, including climbing stairs, ladders and gangways is required.
Reporting Responsibilities
Reports to Consulting Services Manager
Depending on location, Administrative reporting may be to Regional Head or Consulting Services Manager
