Comodo Time Machine (时光机、CTM) 的前身是Comodo DiskShield (影子系统)。为了适应CIS V4的要求，重新设计、开发，并改名为Comodo Time Machine 。Comodo Time Machine 将会作为CIS V4的一部分和独立产品同时存在，满足不同的用户。Comodo Time Machine 作为CISxx、系统修复、还原的手段，是整个防御体系{zh1}一道防线。在中毒以后，可以恢复到之前保存的快照，或者可以提取之前快照里的指定文件。

这款“时光机”提供了英文和简体中文两种语言，并且有傻瓜模式和高级模式，这就是高级模式中的界面，可以看出，界面还是非常漂亮的。在启动的时候按Home键可以进入非Windows模式，提供了备份还原卸载以及一些小功能。可以说，“时间机器”在功能上是模仿雨过天晴的，不过在很多地方做得更细致，更重要的是，它是免费的！而且也提供了资料同步功能。
