RAJBIRAJ: Health condition of the daily wage workers at Koshi Pump Division No 2, Chandra Nahar, who have been on a week-long hunger strike, is deteriorating due to the protest. The employees have been staging the hunger-strike on the office premises by putting forward their six-point demand since December 14. The protesters have demanded continuation of the job for workers under the age limit. Other demands of the workers include yearly disbursement of funds for the project, Dashain allowance, compensation on accidents for operators of 440 and 33 KV transmission lines, and overtime job.
