台湾金属中心日前成立台湾植体公司筹备处,初期锁定年产值20亿元的国内市场,后续将推广到国际市场。
金属中心董事长黄启川指出,传统假牙强度不足,且使用上有许多不便,因此植牙逐渐取代假牙,成为牙齿xx的趋势。
而植牙需要考虑人工牙根结构、骨整合及牙医师临床经验等因素,涉及生物、机械、材料以及医学等相关知识,复杂度很高。
目前金属中心开发完成两套人工牙根系统,并建立完整的加工技术与检测技术能力,包括产品设计、表面处理、手术器械及产品认证等技术,除符合国人使用外,其周边器具扩孔钻,耐磨程度甚至优于国际大厂,可提高植牙时齿槽骨初期痊愈的能力,创造植牙高成功率。
黄启川表示,金属中心推出的钛合金人工牙根表面处理,采用喷砂酸蚀技术,使骨细胞更容易贴附与生长,可承受较大的咬合力,这项技术藉由动物试验得到验证,其量产技术也已成熟,可立即移转给业界,协助传统产业提升附加价值。
