单向可控硅为什么叫做“SCR”?
有两种命名可以解释:
首先,我们看看有关半导体相关的名词:
半导体:Semiconductor ({dy}个字母为S)
控 制:Controlled ({dy}个字母为C)
整流器:Rectifier ({dy}个字母为R)
以上三组英文单词的{dy}个英文字母分别为:S、C、R,
组合成“SCR”,综合以上半导体名词的中文译意为:半导体控制整流器。
又:半导体是硅晶元的代名
硅:Silicon
控制:Controlled
整流器:Rectifier。
这三组英文单词的{dy}个英文字母也组合成:“SCR”,中文译意为:硅可控整流器。
因此,硅可控整流器、也有人叫做 可控硅整流器。也就是我们平常所说的“可控硅”了。
SCR是单向可控硅的统称。Thyristor 是晶闸管的统称。
在这个命名前提下,各个生产商有其自己产品命名方式:
最早的MOTOROLA公司取{dy}个字母“M”代表其摩托罗拉,“CR”代表单向,因而组合成单向可控硅“MCR”的{dy}代命名,代表型号:MCR100-6、MCR100-8。
日本三菱公司(现瑞萨科技)在单向可控硅器件命名上,则去掉了“SCR”的{dy}个字母“S”,以“CR”直接命名,代表型号:CR02AM、CR03AM等等。

双向可控硅:TRIACs (Triac)

闸流管:Thyratron
