Above: While walking alone sea, you can see bushes between
water and the well made road. Here is a bay rather than an opened
sea.
Yang-Pu Economic Development Zone is one of the most important economic development zone in Hai-Nan. It’s over a hundred kilometer west from the capital city Hai-Kou. About one and half hour drive. It is belonging to Zhan-Zhou city at North-West of the island.

lovely?
Jun kept on telling me that Yang-Pu is very rural and still under developed, as well as warning me not expect too much before I came. I am an active person and love traveling a lot, at the same time, I am actually also a typical “HousePeople”(Zhai Nv宅女), I normally won’t get out from the house few days in a roll when I’m off work even there might be something need to be done. He took me out to the sea in the afternoon next day, and of course we went out to the sea every day since we are living exactly by the sea.
Above: This little pink fluffy flower grows in a cluster
like bush. I like it very much too.
Except wild pink flowers, there’re also many kind of wild flowers in different colour: yellow, white, purple, brown, ect. I love all of them! They look much healthier and natural compare to the kind of huge eye catching green house flowers.

you can see how close to the sea I’m living.
Above: The view from the balcony of Jun’s apartment. It’s
on the 11th floor. The building very close to us with
blue things on the top in this photo is a kindergarten; the houses
by the sea beyond the kindergarten form a fishing village. I will
talk about this village later.
Jun’s apartment is a lovely estate by the sea. It’s idle for walking, you can either walk inside the estate, or walk alone the sea. We went out for a walk on my first evening here, but couldn’t see much cause it was too dark and my eye sight isn’t good. We went out next day, we walked away from the main road into the stone beach. Mind you, the beach is not covered by sand but stones oyster shell on the surface. A few of women from local village nearby were getting oyster with a kind of special made spade. I had a look at oysters they got, they aren’t very big compare to the barbecue oyster I had before at home. I am told that they will use these small oysters to make dishes like oyster & egg pancake, oyster porridge, or just fry with spring onion and ginger for dinner. Sounds nice!

There
were also men fishing at beach or in boat. I have also seen a
floating house for keeping the fish they catched.
Above: The floating house is not far from the
beach.
Above: A closer look at the floating house. Seems there are
people living on the house as guard.
