一、材质：
PVC, PET, PETG, OPS, PLA (Polylactide), LDPE, PP, PVDC, OPP, POF
材料的分类
1.pvc（聚氯乙烯）：pvc收缩膜的透明性好、收缩率较高，在40％～60％之间，而且其成本较低，抗拉伸强度大，温度收缩范围大，对热源要求不高，主要加工热源是热空气、红外线或二者的结合。但是pvc收缩膜环保性差，pvc难回收，燃烧时产生毒气，不利于环保，在欧洲、日本已禁止使用。但在我国由于对环保要求不是很高，在热收缩标签领域pvc仍是最主要的材料。pvc材质的热收缩标签在国内饮料行业的占有率为80％。
2.pet膜（聚酯）：pet膜是国际公认的环保型热收缩膜材料。它的技术指标、物理性能、应用范围和使用方法均接近pvc热收缩膜，是目前先进的单向收缩薄膜。其横向收缩率达70％，纵向收缩率小于3％且xx、无污染，是替代pvc最理想的材料。
3.petg（改性聚酯）：在各种类型的收缩膜中，petg薄膜环保、收缩率{zg}可以达到78％且能够预先调整收缩率，petg收缩膜占有较大的市场份额，约为15％～20％。但其原料成本较高，收缩率过大，在使用中受到限制。
4.ops（取向聚苯乙烯）：这是一种广泛应用的pvc膜的替代品，它的收缩性能好，{zg}可达65％，也有利于环保。与pvc收缩膜相比，0ps收缩膜的环保性优良；与petg收缩膜相比，0ps收缩膜的价格较低，更经济。0ps收缩膜目前的市场占有率为5％，而且还保持着快速增长的发展势头。
5.pe（聚乙烯）：聚乙烯被公认为xx材料，特别适用于食品、药品、饮料等行业的商品标签。可制成高透明、加工性能好、强度大、环保的热收缩标签。但由于其很稳定的非极性性能，印刷适性较差，必须进行表面处理。这就在一定程度上限制了它的大规模应用。
6.Opp：opp薄膜的收缩率较低，其主要应用在收缩环绕标签领域，同时质量好价格低，极具竞争力，约占l8％～20％的市场份额。为了提高墨层的耐刮擦性，更好地保护印刷图文，opp适用于需要低收缩性，接近圆柱状的容器。opp与上述其他承印物料不同之处，是其专为环罐式而设计。
PVC
在美国的收缩膜领域中，PVC收缩膜占据了2/3的市场份额。PVC收缩膜的收缩率较高，在40%～60%之间，而且其成本较低，拉伸强度较好，适合做多包的组合包装。 PVC收缩膜存在的主要问题是环保性差，塑料容器回收商不愿意回收PVC收缩膜。而且，PVC和PET材料的相对密度比较接近，在1.33左右，就目前的技术水平而言，在回收过程中很难将两者区分开。
PETG
在各种类型的收缩膜中，PETG薄膜的收缩率{zg}，可以达到78%。PETG收缩膜占据的市场份额为15%～20%。它的相对密度为1.28，但其价格较高，阻碍了其发展步伐。
OPS
与PVC收缩膜相比，OPS收缩膜的环保性优良；与PETG收缩膜相比，OPS收缩膜的价格较低，更经济。OPS收缩膜目前的市场占有率为5%，而且还保持着快速增长的发展势头。 OPS的相对密度为1.025，收缩率{zg}可达65%，而且，在其收缩过程中，与收缩相反的方向上基本不发生收缩。
OPP
虽然OPP薄膜的收缩率较低，但其在收缩环绕标签领域的应用不容忽视，它占据着18%～20%的市场份额。OPP收缩膜比较适合于对收缩率要求不高的近似圆柱形的容器。OPP的相对密度为0.90，因此能够以极具竞争力的价格提供较高的产量。OPP收缩膜仅适用于收缩环绕标签。

PVC Shrink Labels- This material is easiest to control in the shrink process,
it is also generally the most cost effective. PVC is available in pasteurisable
and steam grades and offers good scuff resistance.
PETG Shrink Labels- This material offers the best scuff resistance and also
the highest percentage of shrink. It is pasturisable and is also easily
recycled.
OPS Shrink Labels- This substrate is more cost effective than PET and
offers the lowest vertical shrink and therefore the most consistent finish. It is
often used for "squeezy" containers.
