Recruitment process: + Telephone interviews + Face-to-face interviews Responsibilities: + Develop, improve and implement department key performance indicators such as on time delivery, out-going quality, customer satisfaction, turnaround time, etc. + Provide mentoring, coaching, performance reviews and training development for production staff. + Be responsible for production planning, process, quality control, warehouse etc. + Optimize machine utilization and deployment of resources to achieve production output, productivity, product quality. + Maximize all production resources to enhance company’s competitiveness in manufacturing lead-time and costing. + Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the production process. + Originate, implement continuous improvement programs for cost reduction, cycle time improvement, productivity and increase operation effectiveness. Requirements: + Chemical engineering, chemical science or engineering + Preferably the candidate has a BSc or MSc Degree/ Technical qualification or equivalent in materials, chemical or processing engineering + Excellent leadership skills + Good interpersonal and communication skills + At least 8 years rubber manufacturing / Production Operations experience + Knowledge in quality management + Preferably experience with transmission belt technology + Technical understanding of rubber processing + An Eye for detail and quality + Efficient and effective communicator + Excellent planning/Organizing skills + Good result oriented personality + Strong sense of responsibility + English (working knowledge) preferred + Chinese (fluent in speaking and writing) + Strong quality awareness + A strong self-initiator Interested?
