The reason why I didn’t blog about Cambodia earlier on………….. because she’s too heavy heartened.
The only country that leaves me an unforgettable memory, lets me think my present life is luxurious and the different ranks in the world
I was there for 11 days. The first 3 days with my family, the next 4 days with sister mavis to experience the life there and the remaining few days at Phnom Penh alone.
My family bought their tickets way last year, I joined them at the last minute. A total of 7 people, young and old spent our 3D3N at Siam reap. We went to the grandest Angkor Wat and other places of interests. My uncle is a backpacker and has been to Cambodia before, so this trip was solely plan by him. The first 3 days I was a goody good member but unfortunately I fell sick and was coughing continuously throughout the whole night. Lucky uncle brought along a medicine bag and I felt better after popping 2 cold remedies pill down.
Due to time constraint, we only purchased a day trip ticket to Angkor wat which is not enough, hopefully in the near future I can go back there again.??Angkor Wat is beautifully seen during rainy season. Rain will fill the bathing pool in the palace~ BEAUTIFUL!
We rode a motorcycle to go to the hole Resa nearby village. Due to dry season, the water level draws back probably has more than 10 kilometres. The ride is close to 20 minutes and on rainy season the lake will be flooded and the only way to reach the village is by boat.? During the dry season, the people will mend the road caused by flood, year after year, day after day …………
A bunch of kids were seen picking up things along the lakeside, they could be some recycled stuffs which I did not see clearly. The scenery at the lakeside are really beautiful.
Shockingly saw “aquatic floating people”
There are far too many unfamiliar happiness here. The satisfaction on a child’s face is what you cannot see on a city child. At this moment, I remember a story “ I always complain and grumble that I do not have a pair of pretty shoes until there is one day I saw a person with no legs….”
well-taken pictures! and i like the pictures of you taken by others too
anyway, i actually read a little about your trip from this blog :
haha thanks karyan for sharing that link!
i saw what was written abt jess on that blog and i shall share it with other readers here:
“The beauty on the back of the motorbike is Jesseca Liu, a popular Malaysian-born, Singapore-based, actress. Jesseca had come for a visit with her family but got stuck without a flight out (long story). It was funny, we took her for a massage in Siem Reap and all the massage girls insisted on taking a photo with Jesseca cos they recognised her as Ruan Mian Mian, the Vietnamese bride in a Singapore drama series called “Portrait of Home” (同心圆). The show was dubbed in Khmer and shown on TV. Everywhere we went Khmers would gawk and say she is sa’at. They especially loved her fair skin. Having met her I can confirm she really is beautiful, inside and out.”
yay! proves yet again that jess is someone with a beautiful heart
