Hello,
How can I configure the feeds to automatically download any embedded
image in the post? I have it when I'm on the train trying to read my
feeds and the images are not there?
Unfortunately, the feed posts downloaded over RSS do not contain the images
inside. They just specify the links to images, just like any HTML does. When
we display the post in the embedded browser, it's the browser who requests
the pictures for those links. Yes, at display time and not download time,
and nothing to do with that in the current version.
And yes, it's a good feature you've mentioned — “preload images”. And yes
again, it's planned for the next version ![](http://www.jetbrains.net/devnet/images/emoticons/happy.gif)
Besides the use case indicated above, the feature is also going to speed
up the display for those feeds that have many images or whose images are
fetched over a slow connection.
