  故障之一,阀门不通。原因有: ①控制通道被杂物堵塞(通道细小,容易堵塞); ②活塞因锈渍卡在{zg}位置;虽上部受力,但不能向下移动,打不开主通道。 所以,活塞减压阀前必须安装过滤器;对于新安装或长期停用的减压阀,一定要拆开检查和清洗。 故障之二,阀门直通,不起减压作用。原因有: ①活塞在某一位置(不是{zg}位置)卡住; ②主阀阀柄在汽缸盘导向孔某一位置 (不是密合位置)卡住; ③主阀阀瓣下部弹簧断裂或失效; ④脉冲阀阀柄在阀座孔内某一位置(不是密合位置)卡住,使活塞总是受压力; ⑤主阀瓣与主阀座两密封面之间,有污物卡住或有刻痕; ⑥膜片因疲劳或损坏而失灵。 对于减压阀,特别要强调定期检查。如发现污物、锈渍要及时除去;活塞环损坏应更新;弹簧失效要换成可用的;密封面如不密合,应重新研磨;膜片不灵要更换;经使用如确认阀柄较粗,应用砂纸打磨。 三,阀后压力不能调节。除上述各种原因外,还有: ①调节弹簧失灵;②帽盖接缝泄漏,不能保持压力。 这也要靠及时检查处理来预防。 此外,还有一种现象,就是阀后压力脉冲波动,极不稳定。这是输入介质与输出介质差量太大之故,应重新选择阀径相当的阀门。还有一个造成阀后压力不稳的原因是,调节弹簧选择不当;一种公称压力的减压阀,调节弹簧有几种,例如公称压力为16公斤/平方厘米,调节弹簧就有1-3公斤/平方厘米、2-8公斤/平方厘米、7-11公斤/平方厘米三种,假如阀后压力只需1-3公斤/平方厘米,而弹簧却是7-11公斤/平方厘米的那种,阀后压力就调不准了。
