 中国市政工程西南设计研究院成立于1956年，是建设部直属的综合甲级勘察科研设计单位，2000年进入中国房地产开发集团，院本部位于四川省成都市，现有职工718人，拥有各类专业技术人员572人，教授、高级工程师197人，中、初级技术人员375人。{gjj}专家、省部级突出贡献专家21人，省学术与技术带头人2人，后备人选3人，省勘察设计大师3人，各专业注册工程师（建筑师、咨询师、公用设备师、结构师、监理师）有182人。我院专业配备合理、技术力量雄厚，设备保障精良，实践经验丰富，管理体系完善，社会信誉良好。

  Established in 1956, Southwest Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute of China is a comprehensive survey, research and design enterprise with A Grade directly subordinate to the Ministry of Construction. It was included into China National Real Estate Development Group Corporation in 2000. The institute is headquartered in Chengdu, Sichuan, having 718 employees at present. Of them, 572 are professional technicians, 197 are professors and senior engineers, and 375 are mediate and junior technicians. 21 are experts at the national level or specialists with provincial prominent contributions, two are academic and technical leaders, three are candidates, three are provincial survey & design masters, and 182 are registered engineers (architects, consultants, utility engineers, structure engineers and supervising engineers). The institute is well equipped with reasonable equipment and technical power, boasting rich experiences, management systems and social credit rating.

     建院50年来，我院先后承担完成了西南地区的四川、重庆、云南、贵州、西藏和上海、天津、广州、深圳、珠海、杭州、宁波、南京、厦门、泉州、青岛、唐山、西安、太原、洛阳、南宁、海南等省市及国外各类给水排水、工业与民用建筑、道路桥梁、城市燃气、城市规划、园林绿化、电气自动化控制、机械设备和水工结构、城市污水与工业废水处理、工程测量、地形航测、水文地质、工程地质、环保评价、降水工程等市政基础工程勘察设计科研项目10000余项，承担完成xxxx攻关科研课题项目80余项，成果推广使用20余项，完成以设计为龙头的工程总承包项目100余项，工程监理项目700余项，荣获国家、部、省级优秀设计奖、优秀工程质量奖、全国科学大会奖、重大科技成果奖100余项，其中{gjj}设计奖5项，省部级咨询设计一等奖26项，二等奖36项，三等奖及市级奖共计29项，国家及省部科技一等奖4项、二等奖4项、三等奖6项。

  Over the past 50 years, the institute completed more than 10,000 survey, design and research projects for municipal foundation works in Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Guizhou, Tibet, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Qingdao, Tangshan, Xi’an, Taiyuan, Luoyang, Nanning, Hainan, as well as foreign projects like water supply and drainage, industrial and civil buildings, roads and bridges, city gas, urban planning, garden afforestation, electric automation control, mechanical equipment and hydraulic structure, urban sewage and industrial wastewater treatment, engineering measurement, landform aerial photography, hydrological geology, engineering geology, environmental assessment, dewatering works etc. It also completed more than 80 key research projects, and the results of 20 projects are widely applied. Over 100 general contract projects led by design and 700-odd supervision projects are completed. The institute was honored more than 100 awards including the State, ministerial and provincial excellent design awards, outstanding engineering quality awards, The National Science Conference awards and major technological fruit awards. Of those, five are State-level design awards, 26 are first prizes of consulting design competition at the provincial or ministerial level, 36 are second prizes, 29 are third prizes and municipal prizes, four are first prizes of State or provincial technology award, four are second prizes and six are third prizes.

 改革开放以来，凭借雄厚的技术力量，丰富的实践经验，良好的企业信誉，我院在“立足西南、面向全国、开拓沿海、走向国际”的经营战略方针指导下，从1983年起，相继在深圳、珠海、上海、厦门、昆明、贵阳、重庆、南京、南宁、乌鲁木齐等地建立了综合性的设计分支机构，强化质量管理，加强后期技术服务，为当地的市政建设做出了积极贡献，取得了良好的综合效益。与此同时，加强国际间的业务往来与技术交流合作，经过多年的开拓和经营，我院与世界20多个国家和地区建立了友好合作关系。在国内外有关公司的协作支持下，我院海外工程部门先后完成了埃塞俄比亚给水工程、毛里求斯污水厂工程、安哥拉供水工程、尼日尔供水咨询监理项目、瓦努阿图别墅工程、维也纳“中国园林”工程、巴基斯坦卡拉齐污水处理工程、尼泊尔科苏桥梁工程等国外项目的勘察设计或施工。近年来，在承担的多项大中型世界银行xx和外国政府xx项目中，我院均全过程参与，特别是在成都自来水六厂B厂项目中，我院与外方业主法国OTV公司配合默契，圆满完成了全国{dy}个自来水BOT试点项目。50年来历经几代人不懈努力，我院已形成了专业配套齐全、知识结构合理的设计队伍；建立健全了在院长领导下，以总工程师负责的技术质量保证体系，并于1990年通过了建设部全面质量管理达标验收，2000年通过了ISO9001质量认证并注册。与此同时，注重抓好设计人员的知识更新与技术进步，加大设备投入，改善设计条件，经国家科委组织验收，荣获了CAD应用工程{gjj}示范企业称号，有效地提高了设计效益与设计文件成品质量，为企业的可持续发展打下了良好的基础。

  Since the reform and opening up to the outside world, the institute has established good credit with its powerful technical power and rich experiences. Under the guideline of “standing in the southwest, oriented to the entire nation, exploring the coastal market and going global”, the institute has established braches in Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shanghai, Xiamen, Kunming, Guiyang, Chongqing, Nanjing, Nanning, Urumqi etc. to reinforce quality management and improve post-stage technical services. It has made great contributions to the local municipal construction and yielded good comprehensive benefits. At the same time, the institute has strengthened the business and technical exchanges with international enterprises, and has established goodwill partnership with more than 20 countries and regions in the world. Under the assistance and support of domestic and foreign companies, the institute has completed Ethiopia water supply project, Mauritius wastewater treatment plant project, Angola water supply project, Niger water supply consulting and supervising project, Vanuatu villa project, Vienna “China Garden” project, Karachi wastewater treatment project of Pakistan, Nepal Kosu bridge project etc. In recent years, the institute participated in many large and medium-sized projects with loans by the World Bank and foreign governments throughout all phases. In particular, the institute completed the BOT Project of Chengdu Sixth Water Supply Factory, the first ever running water BOT pilot project of China in cooperation with the foreign owner—OTV company of France. Over the past 50 years, the institute has set up a design team made up by talented structured members. Under the leadership of the president of the institute, the institute passed the total quality management acceptance by the Ministry of Construction in 1990, which is featured with the responsibility of the chief engineer. And in 2000, the institute passed the ISO9001 certification. At the same time, the institute pays attention to the knowledge update and progress, enhance equipment input, and improve design conditions. It won the title of demonstration enterprise of CAD application, which improves the design benefits and quality, and lays solid foundation for sustainable development.
