随着分档的推出，也公布了世界杯的。一首叫做《飘扬的旗帜（Wavin’Flag）》的歌曲经过了多轮的评审最终被选为了的官方主题曲。主题歌的演唱者为 31岁的xx(K'naan)，他出生在的一个艺术之家，由于国内局势动荡，13岁随家人移居加拿大，但他仍然心系索马里，创作的很多歌曲都和索马里局势相关。 ^[1] 　　《飘扬的旗帜》是他今年2月底发行的专辑《游吟诗人》中的一首歌，歌曲带有浓郁的气息，表达了对这片充满战火 、贫穷和落后的土地不离不弃的热爱。在今年9月国际足联举行的征集中，克南将自己的歌曲寄给了国际足联，最终被国际足联所认可，成为了南非世界杯的主题歌。
　　据悉，克南已经联手西班牙xxDavid Bisbal特别为世界杯重新制作一款混音版的《飘扬的旗帜》用于宣传，两个版本届时都将收录在南非世界杯歌曲专辑之中。

　　这首《飘扬的旗帜》也不例外，同时克南雄浑的歌声中也充满了对非洲大地这片神奇土地上生命力的彰显。 　　这首歌曲由于歌颂自由、平等和爱，且带有浓郁的非洲气息，因此受到南非世界杯组委会的青睐。
