笔者日前从上海城投总公司了解到，为保障世博会供水能力，，该公司下属企业浦东威立雅公司世博供水保障中心已正式落成投运。
该中心紧邻世博园区的长清泵站综合楼内，担负着24小时全天候协调处置浦东园区内各类用水事务的职责。保障中心所依托的长清泵站增压能力为16万立方米/日，能有效满足世博会场馆区供水时变化系数大、消防要求高、供水安全性要求高的特点。同时，为确保在发生突发性用水事件时做到“快速响应、科学决策、集中指挥、统一调度”，该平台以GIS(管网地理信息系统)技术为基础，将“SCADA(计算机辅助调度)系统、管网水力、水质模型系统、抄表和营业收费系统”等各项服务及生产系统无缝连接、一体化集成，成为世博浦东园区供水保障的神经中枢。
