DELPHI -- The city of Delphi received an early Christmas present Thursday with the announcement that manufacturing activity and jobs may soon return to the former Globe Valve building. A team of regional investors headed by Carroll County resident Jeff VanWeelden recently purchased the site. VanWeelden, who also owns Indiana Waste Systems of Monticello, plans to rehabilitate and remodel the structure, then lease space to future manufacturing and warehouse tenants.
