Y: Excuse me.
X: Yes?
Y: Could I have a blanket?
X: I'm afraid there aren't any at the moment. Can you wait just a
little while?
Y: OK. I will.
X: I'll bring you one as soon as I find one available.
Y: Would you, please? Thank you.
1.blanket n.
Cover yourself with a blanket lest you should catch a
cold.
2.available a.
Do you have this book available here?
Do you sell this book here? ( )
Do you have the February issue of Reader's Digest available
here?
Mr. Lee is available now.
I will be available tomorrow.
=I will be free tomorrow.
=I will have time off tomorrow.
I have two rooms available.
3.Would you, please?
Would you bring one,
please?"
4.at the moment
I'm busy at the moment.
=I'm busy now.
5.a little while 一会儿
例: I can only stay here (for) a little while.
I've stayed here (for) a long while.
I'm afraid there aren't any at the moment.
I'm afraid (that)...
例: I'm afraid (that) it will rain tomorrow.
I'm afraid (that) the train has gone.
be afraid of + 动名词 害怕……
Tom is afraid of seeing a dentist.
Mary is afraid to enter the room alone.
