Over the weekend I saw How to Train Your Dragon, and I absolutely LOVED it! It’s a perfect blend of humor, suspense, drama, and of course great, great graphics. I love watching this kind of animated films, but not all animated films are equal. Some graphics just don’t sit well with me. For example, Up and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I was so turned off by how?Up looks that I didn’t watch it despite the high ratings. I saw Cloudy but didn’t quite like it. I’m not sure what is it about these films, really, it’s just a gut feeling; kinda like how I don’t like the drawing style of Naruto.

I liked How to Train Your Dragon so much that I’d watch it again. Maybe it’s the Scottish accent? Or maybe I just like how characters who are thought to be “different” and bullied end up being the hero, like Harry Potter. I love how Toothless is portrayed in the movie, and watching the relationship between Tootless and Hiccup was really heartwarming.

And of course, I would love to have?my own Night Fury as a pet! ^.^
