General Description:

Electrostatic discharge simulation system for IEC 1000-4-2 (updated 801-2) compliance testing with charging voltage variable from 200V up to 16.5 kV.

Features:

Extremely portable and convenient to use, the PESD 1600 system's capability is fully compliant with the IEC electrostatic discharge simulation requirement for both Air Discharge and Contact Discharge methods.

The Contact Discharge method is favored since it is most reproducible. Air discharges are used when contact discharges are not possible, e.g.; plastic housings.
