The evolution of Flowboarding has been moved forward by Terje Haakonsen, Mike Stewart, Tony Hawk, Kelly Slater and platoons of some of the best surfers,, bodyboarders, skaters, snowboarders, wakeboarders and skimboarders in the world. They will cross oceans and continents to ride the FlowRider ® and the FlowBarrel ®, the two sheet waves at the center of every Wave House which provide an endless rush, and a controllable wave for getting their moves down.

Flowboarding is a hybrid sport derived from hybrid sports. You are riding a board on a wave so it’s like surfing,, but the board is closer to a snowboard or a wakeboard, and the weight is on your front foot, like snowboarding. Flowboarding allows a rider to do dozens of turns or stay in the barrel for minutes at a time, and the carves on the shoulder are like surfing. But the aerial stunts possible on the FlowBarrel ® – like double backflips &ndash,; are closer to snowboard half pipes and skateboarding vert ramps.
