The full detailsof the four stages of the Job Ready Program
are still being finalised by TRA,and a fuller report of these will
be sent to members as soon as we receivefurther clarification from
TRA. Some details we do have about Stage 1, theProvisional Skills
Assessment, are:
TRA is currentlyinflexible about this, despite the fact that
some employers (for example,plumbers) do not have an official
office and may only have a mobile phonenumber for business
purposes. TRA’s position is that there is no way of knowingif a
given mobile phone number is really that of the employer, even if
otherinformation is given about the employer in the
application.
