Responsibilities:
+ Manage all materials functions.
+ Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and material control systems.
+ Establish stocking programs and effectively manage inventory levels in a quick-turn, engineer-to-order environment.
+ Ensure materials are available to utilize capacity and meet production requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels.
+ Insures material schedules and plans and capacity requirements are effectively communicated and executed.
+ Works closely with internal departments to ensure functional specifications are met, parts are available as needed, and product quality is maintained.

Requirements:
+ Chemical engineering, chemical science or engineering
+ Preferably the candidate has a BSc or MSc Degree/ Technical qualification or equivalent in materials, chemical or processing engineering
+ At least 5 years working experience with materials, especially natural rubber and ingredients (carbon black, rubber compound for rubber manufacturing)
+ Related experience in supply-chain management of rubber manufacturing
+ Preferably experience with transmission belt
+ Strong understanding of chemical industry
+ Technical understanding of rubber processing
+ Experience with the industrial application of rubber, e.g. heat resistance, oil resistance and electrical conductivity
+ Be able to work with products
+ Willingness to do hands-on work
+ Ability to persuade and influence
+ An Eye for detail and quality
+ Efficient and effective communicator
+ Excellent planning/Organizing skills
+ Good result oriented personality
+ Strong sense of responsibility
+ Intercultural competence enabling to interact with Western and Chinese counterparts
+ Chinese (fluent in speaking and writing)
+ Good English preferred
+ A strong self-initiator
