球状水砷锌矿块体在褐铁矿基质中

水砷锌矿Adamite。

　　晶体呈长板状或等径形，也成双晶，以球状块体产出。通常呈鲜艳的黄绿色，条痕白色。透明到半透明，玻璃光泽。

成因：形成于矿脉的氧化带。与方解石，褐铁矿，孔雀石，蓝铜矿，菱锌矿和异极矿等多种矿物伴生。

鉴定特征：溶于稀释的酸中，有时在紫外光下发出萤光，在火焰中熔化。

C-black-green to light green.

S-olive-green.

L-greasy.

D-translucent.

Origin and occurrence:

Secondary in Zn deposits,associated with hemimorphite,goethitee and smithsonite.Rich druses of green and rare purple crystals up to 70mm across come from Mina Ojuela,Mapimi,Durango,Mexico;also known from Tsumeb,Namibia;Laurion,Greece;and Cap Garonne,France.
